Overview
Built CredAxis as founding engineer — a decentralized transcript and credential verification marketplace connecting students, institutions, and employers. Institutions issue tamper-proof credentials on-chain, students own and control access to their records, and employers verify them instantly without manual back-and-forth.
Problem
Academic credential verification is slow, manual, and prone to fraud. Institutions rely on outdated systems, students have no ownership over their records, and employers waste time chasing verification from registrars.
What I Built
Designed and built the full product end-to-end — frontend platform, backend API, and smart contract architecture. Built an on-chain credential registry with decentralized storage for tamper-proof transcript issuance, a student-controlled sharing layer, and an instant employer verification flow — from concept to live beta.
Challenges
Designing a trustless system where institutions retain issuing authority while students retain full ownership required careful smart contract architecture. Balancing on-chain transparency with credential privacy was a core design challenge throughout.
Outcome
Shipped from concept to live beta as founding engineer. Smart contracts deployed and platform live at credaxis-web.vercel.app.
